The 2010 Crescendo Music Awards will be held MARCH 11-13, 2010. The competition continues to provide gifted young musicians the opportunity to compete before an extraordinary group of judges, and to win a share of nearly $40,000 in cash prizes.

The Rotary Club of Tulsa will welcome Jie Yuan, the Bob H. Johnson Gold Award Winner and People's Choice Award winner at the 2006 Crescendo Music Awards Competition, as guest artist for Crescendo Day at Rotary on Wednesday, February 10, 2010.

Since winning the Crescendo Competition in 2006, Jie has been busy making a name for himself as a new and exciting presence on concert stages throughout the United States and Europe. He has also been awarded a full scholarship to the Juilliard School of Music.

CRESCENDO APPLICANTS:

The deadline for contestant applications is drawing near. It is important for all contestants to complete their application process by January 31, 2010. Applications are not complete until all of the following have been submitted:

• Application Fee
